Privacy Policy

We keep only what we need to fulfil your orders and run the site. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies, and we never sell your data.

Galligraphy is run by Galligraphy Designs, LLC, a Colorado (USA) company. For anything about your data, contact us.

What we keep

  • Your orders: your contact and shipping details and what you ordered, including your designs. We use them to make and deliver your order, send order emails and downloads, help with problems, and keep tax records.
  • Messages you send us: so we can reply.
  • Anonymous visit totals: counts of page views and similar, with nothing that identifies you. See our Cookie Policy, where you can also switch this off.

What we use but don't keep

  • Your designs: drawn on our servers as you make them, and not saved unless you order it, preview it on a product, or send us feedback about it.
  • Your IP address: used to protect the site from abuse and to tell which country a visit comes from, and deleted within a day.
  • Your card details: entered directly with our payment processor, Stripe. We never receive them.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run Galligraphy: our payment processor (Stripe), our print and shipping partner (Printify), and our email and hosting providers. We never sell your data or share it for advertising. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

These services are based in the United States, so your data is processed there, under the usual safeguards for international transfers.

Why we're allowed to (EU and UK)

We use your data to fulfil your orders, to meet legal obligations such as tax records, and in our legitimate interest in running, improving and securing the site.

How long we keep it

Only as long as we need it for the reasons above. Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, and your downloads stay available. Visit totals are kept for about 13 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or get a copy of your data, or object to how we use it. Contact us and we'll respond within a month. In the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.

California residents: we don't sell or share personal information, and we honor Global Privacy Control.

Children

Galligraphy isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly keep their data. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top.
